Kathryn Szewczuk
Effective April 1st, 2017 Kathryn Szewczuk was officially appointed Executive Director of LCMHA, following six months as “Interim Director”.
Kathryn is a University of Michigan graduate. She began her 22 year career at LCMHA in January 1995. With a background in social work, Kathryn has worked closely with consumers, both adults and children.
Kathryn is a visible presence in the Lenawee County community following her community outreach; suicide prevention and substance abuse prevention work. Kathryn has always been a staunch advocate for community collaboration as a means to improving the lives of all of its citizens.
She is passionate about ensuring that Lenawee’s most vulnerable citizens have access to quality mental health care and substance abuse treatment. LCMHA is committed to an integrated health approach to treatment (behavioral health and physical health) as a holistic pathway to recovery.
